Born to Global Center (Center Director Kim Jong-gap) announced on the 18th that the first domestic
AI (Artificial Intelligence) beauty store of its member company lululab (CEO Choe Yong-joon) has opened at Lotte ABNEWL.
lululab recommends optimal cosmetics for customers' skin through LUMINI kiosk, a customized skin care solution based on artificial intelligence.
Lumini is a solution that scans the skin, analyzes the skin within 10 seconds, and informs each individual of cosmetics.
It can be found at On and the Beauty, a premium beauty editing shop on the first basement floor of Lotte's Avenue Jamsil branch.
On and the Beauty is taking an operation method based on big data, a format differentiated from existing drug stores and select shops.
lululab is a member of the Born-to-Global Center and a startup from Samsung Electronics' in-house venture C-Lab.
It collects global skin data, converts it into big data, and analyzes it with its own artificial intelligence algorithm.
It has developed an artificial intelligence skin secretary Lumini and is conducting various collaborations with beauty companies.
We are happy to launch lululab's first artificial intelligence beauty store in Korea, said Choe Yong-joon, CEO of lululab.
"Through Lumini, artificial intelligence skin secretary, customers can not only measure their skin for free, but also purchase the best products sold by On & The Beauty."
lululab plans to open additional beauty stores at major Lotte department stores nationwide, starting with Lotte's ABNEWL Jamsil branch.
Meanwhile, lululab launched "Your Beauty Store," an artificial intelligence K-beauty store, at the Dubai Times Square branch of Sharaf DG,
the largest electronics retailer in the Middle East, in early October.
In early November, he was honored with the CES 2020 Innovation Award for the second consecutive year.
