The Bontu Global Center announced on the 9th that its member beauty artificial intelligence startup lululab has launched Lumini Kiosk V2 (LUMINI KIOSK Ver.2)
that provides customized services for non-face-to-face skin.
Lumini Kiosk V2 made its debut at E-Mart Town Wolgye branch upon its launch.
lululab has been working as a member of the Bonto Global Center since 2018.
Lumini Kiosk V2 is a smart mirror service in which artificial intelligence analyzes skin when consumers
who visit cosmetics stores look in the mirror and recommends cosmetics suitable for individual skin conditions.
With voice guidance and face distance detection sensors, you can easily receive skin analysis without the help of store staff.
lululab added augmented reality (AR) technology to the Lumini kiosk V2.
It includes an augmented reality guide function that displays areas that require core care on the user's face,
a face age prediction function that can analyze the degree of aging, and a skin ranking function that tells the top percentage of one's skin condition at the same age.
Choe Yong-joon, CEO of lululab, said, "We expect that Lumini Kiosk V2's non-face-to-face skin customized service will bring customers
who are avoiding face-to-face services such as social distancing and daily distancing back to cosmetics stores to help boost overall society."
Meanwhile, lululab was established in 2017 as a former member of Samsung Electronics' venture development program, C Lab.
In recognition of the value of using artificial intelligence-based skin data,
it received the Innovation Award for the second consecutive year until 2020 at CES, the world's largest consumer electronics fair.
